Better Late than Never

I actually finished this on Thursday and sweet hubby framed it just in the nick of time!  :)  We hosted a party on Saturday night and this was on display.  (It's not as bright as it shows in the picture....the white "dots" are pearl beads.  IRL, it has more of a pink tone).

We had such a good time with our friends on Saturday night -  we have the best friends and neighbors!  Due to Ian's tennis coaching schedule, (tournaments start again before too long!), this was the first and last free Saturday we've had in quite a while.  We had a yummy dinner (Hawaiian Haystacks) and even yummier cupcakes from the Publix bakery for dessert.  Snarky Ian mentioned that we should have Publix goodies more often - not just when we're having company! (I cherish him!)  LOLOL

I hope you each had a lovely Valentine's Day.  My hubby isn't necessarily a "romantic holiday" kind of guy.  He's more of an "every-day" romantic.  He likes suprising me out of the blue with flowers, or leaving little treats or notes on my pillow at random times.  He's also is one of those guys who see things that need to be done without being asked...golly, I love that about him.  If my hubby says he's going to do something, you can rest assured that it will be done.  He has an uncanny knack for doing things in the background (I'm president of our HOA and there's always something that needs to be done and so many times I feel that I'm in over my head...hubby will help steer me in the right direction and help take care of things behind the scenes - he's a keeper!!!!!)   :)  He keeps my life on an even keel and I can't imagine being any happier with him!  (Most days, anyway!)  :)   I cherish him!

Thanks to each of you who wrote about my mom.  You're so sweet.  I'm so sorry that we have this common link of Alzheimers to tie us together, but I'm glad that we can encourage and share and support each other through this awful disease.  I cherish my blogging buddies too!!!

Have a most delightful Tuesday!!!

Cherish,
Sharon
