This will be a quickie post, we have family in town visiting and I. Want to be fully immersed in the fun! I knew it would happen - I'd fall off the stash wagon sooner or later. I made it 6 months without spending a single penny but this month, I found temptation that I couldn't resist. I was hoping to have a picture of my goodies to share with you, but I 'm still waiting on my order to arrive.
here's my report:
Moira Blackburn - Three Things Sampler. $ 8.00 Including Shipping
18 ct fabric for sampler 10.00. ". "
Rosewood Manor - - Quakers and Quilts. 18.00. ". "
(This also includes the Valdani Threads needed for the design).
I think I found a steal of a deal on this one!
So, all together I spent, $36. This month was a bonus month for Stitch From Stash, so I had a little extra breathing room. I spent $25 of my monthly allotment, plus another $11 for my bonus month money. I can honestly say that I'm happy that I spent a little this month. Having new stash to fondle can solve almost any woe. Am I right? LOL
Hugs and Grace,
(Posting this from my IPad... For some reason, IPad is not liking Blogger today.). Please excuse any wonky typos.

Can anyone come up with a better title for my wolf update pics? I feel like all I'm doing is wolf update after wolf update... come on, somebody has to think of something catchy! :)
I am happy with the progress I've made. The colors are feeling a bit monotonous but when I step back and look at the entire picture, I understand the use of the colors. (wouldn't be very realistic if the wolf was holding a multi-colored ball or umbrella!) LOL
We've decided as a family that even though we miss our sweet little "fur baby" so much, it wouldn't be dishonoring her life if we find another little Japanese Chin to love. So...we're in wait-list mode. We don't want to rush in and grab the first chin that we see - we want to be sure that the pup we get is truly the one meant for us. We got our last chin when she was 2 years old. This time, we're going to go the puppy route. We're retired now and feel like we have the time needed to devote to a puppy...I'm sure it will be quite the adventure. I hope somebody has a 24-hour puppy help line available. LOL Since chins are a bit of a rare breed, we're probably in for a long wait but we have faith that the right little sweetheart will find us.
I have a huge photo dump post coming up...need to get my photo ducks in a row. I'm also planning to have some give-a-ways some time this summer. I have been blessed by the kindness of others and I really want to pay it forward. Stay tuned!
Hugs and Grace,
(PS - I knew it was going to happen, I fell off the wagon from the "Stitch from Stash" group. I'm still within my alloted amount, I just can't say that I haven't spent a penny on stash anymore. I hung in there from January until June - I'm happy with that. I'll tell you all about my goodies once they arrive!)

I am doing much better now and I'm slowly getting my energy back and am somewhat more coherent. (I hope!) Hee hee.
The up-side to this weirdness in my life is that I have had lots of time to sit while I've been recovering, so I've had time to stitch! I have grundles still left to do on my wolf project but I find it encouraging that a second wolf is beginning to take shape. :) I am loving this project more with each stitch I make. I love watching it grow and seeing progress (even if it is at a snail's pace!)
All that to say, I'm so thankful for my family who care for me (even at 3:59 a.m.), my wonderful hubby who has stepped up to keep the household running smoothly and who cares for me with more TLC than I could ever imagine or deserve, for modern day miracle drugs and a great hospital with a great staff.
As a friendly reminder, don't text and drive and don't text your nearest and dearest when you're not the brightest bulb in the chandelier, nor the sharpest knife in the drawer...you get the idea.
Hugs and Grace,
