Finishes Framed....

I wanted to share pics of the way that my sweetie framed my finishes for me. I just couldn't be any happier with the work that he did. He always amazes me with his ability to look at a piece of my needlework and "feel" the way that a frame would accent it the best. (I especially love the lights that he drilled into "Deck the Halls" and his perfect red and white candy-stripes on the snowman box!) These are the gifts for my mom's neighbors...I must admit that it was a wee bit hard to box them up and send them away - I just adore them and think that I might just be re-stitching them for me eventually! :)
Have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving! (I give thanks that calories don't count on turkey day!!!) :)

Oh my, Sharon, how adorable! Your stitching is wonderful and your hubby definitely has the "eye" for framing them. Lucky you! Great job! (Thanks for visiting and commenting. :) )

Thanks for stopping by my blog Sharon. Yes, a stash diet is just as hard as a food diet. I was doing so well and really lost my head. I love your framed pieces. You are so lucky that your DH can do the framing. And I am sure he does it with great care. I find framing expensive and scary. I have had a bad experience and now try to lace the stitching and frame it myself.

Oh my...I LOVE the framing. Your sweetie has a real gift for it...going to have to coax mine into more input. He's very artistic and creative...have to nudge it my way!

BTW - calories don't count on holidays or if you eat standing up. Goodies stored on top of the fridge have no calories since everyone knows that calories are afraid of heights and jump out.
